E47- Shaun Evans on Pushing his Son Cross Country in an Adaptive Racing Wheelchair
Shaun Evans is an ultra-marathon runner and physical therapist. He’s the Senior Vice President of Programs for Ainsley’s Angels, a non-profit aimed at building awareness about America’s special needs community through inclusion in all aspects of life and serving as advocates to participation in endurance events in local communities.
In 2015 he pushed his son, Shamus, in an adaptive racing wheelchair 3,205 miles from Washington’s Puget Sound to Long Island, NY while giving adaptive chairs to those in need along the way.
He’s also the author of Better Together. A memoir of persistence, inclusion, and his family’s power to overcome.
